This RAW stainless steel shredder is about twice as strong as aluminum and most importantly it is less reactive with plant material. Therefore, this RAW stainless grinder is less likely to alter tastes or material. It's also very strong, so it won't wear out like plastic or aluminum. The only drawback is that it is expensive to manufacture and heavy.
