You don't need to keep a dozen different chargers for your collection of gadgets because there are two slots compatible with most types of rechargeable batteries.The Nitecore i2 is capable of automatically identifying Li-ion, LiFePO4, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries and applying the appropriate charging mode: constant current, constant voltage, or trickle charge.There is a micro processor in each battery.
